I'm an award-winning voice & performance director, casting director and sound designer - and the owner of Sounds Wilde.

As an experienced Voice & Performance Director and Casting Director I work across games, animation and audio/radio drama. I specialise in the casting, creation and capture of compelling performances for voice, motion capture and performance capture, working with actors and production teams across the globe.
My work as a sound designer explores aural worlds for audio and radio drama, audiobooks, plays, operas and other voice-centric projects through soundscapes, sound effects and (for theatre) sound system design.
I’ve also produced audio drama projects and for many years I produced award-winning character voice demos for actors and trained and experienced performers.
I’m a BAFTA Games juror, BAFTA Films juror, a reader for the BAFTA Young Games Designer Awards and a judge for the Audio Production Awards.
In 2022 I developed and taught one of the UK’s first full-length modules in Acting for Video Games at a drama school at an undergraduate level, for the Institute for Contemporary Theatre.
I’ve given masterclasses, talks and lectures for GDC, GameSoundCon, Audio Engineering Society, Association of Sound Designers, One Voice Conference and University of Sussex. I’ve taught and directed at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Guildhall School for Music and Drama. I’ve also been a panellist for BAFTA, EGX and University of Edinburgh.
In 2019 I was named Voiceover Services Provider of the Year at the One Voice Awards.
I trained in music, performance and sound engineering at the University of Auckland, and Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand. After moving to the UK, I spent 8 years working in broadcasting for the BBC and trained in theatre direction.
In 2010 I established Sounds Wilde in order to focus on direction, casting and sound design services
